The service
Dropshift is operated by TAM Software at 06 Anandi Apt, W Wing, Virar East, Maharashtra 401305, India. It provides file and webpage tools through a Chrome extension, with a server API for Pro features. Use it only with documents and page content you are permitted to process.
Your documents
You retain your rights in your content. You authorize the processing required for the task you request. Keep original copies. Do not use the service to bypass access controls, remove passwords without authorization or process unlawful content.
Plans and limits
Free local tools do not consume Pro operations. Both paid plans include 150 successful Pro operations per month, including monthly resets for annual subscriptions. Unused operations do not roll over. One Pro licence supports 3 active devices. Pro file uploads are limited to 50 MB, ordinary PDFs to 50 pages and OCR to 20 pages/frames, including automatic OCR inside other tools. Each successful file in a batch counts separately; failed conversions, full queues and waiting-time rejections do not count as successful operations.
Subscriptions
Review the billing amount, taxes, currency and renewal schedule at checkout. Pro Monthly and Pro Yearly are subscription options with the same tools. A yearly monthly-equivalent figure is a price comparison, not monthly instalments. Cancellation and refunds are described separately.
Conversion quality
Outputs depend on the input. Word export rebuilds editable content rather than exact layout. PowerPoint export creates page images on slides. OCR, table and invoice extraction require review. Text redaction is not a complete sensitive-data discovery system. Inspect outputs before relying on or sharing them.
Availability
Internet access is required for Pro conversion and licence verification. Device memory, service capacity, file compatibility and changes to Chrome or webpages can affect results. Service abuse may lead to access restrictions subject to applicable obligations.
Rights and questions
Website materials and branding belong to their respective rights holders. These terms do not remove consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Contact support@trydropshift.com with questions.
