How to use Web tables to Excel

  1. Open the page that contains your table and make sure the data is loaded.
  2. Use the table export action in Dropshift and choose Excel or CSV.
  3. Download the file and check headers, dates and number formats in your spreadsheet app.

A few useful details

Dropshift reads table elements exposed by the current page. XLSX is useful when you want a workbook, while CSV provides a simple portable text format. Page access is requested through Chrome when the action needs it.

What to know first

A grid drawn on a canvas, an image of a table, or data hidden behind pagination may not be available as an HTML table. Only export data you are permitted to use.
